Propaganda on national sovereignty over sea and islands among pupils

On the afternoon of October 1, provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education in collaboration with provincial Department of Education and Training, the Naval Squadron 129 of Saigon Newport Corporation held a propaganda program on national sovereignty over sea and islands, offered bicycles to poor needy at Le Loi high school in North Tan Uyen district.

Senior lieutenant-colonel Pham Van Quy, Deputy Political commissar of the Naval Squadron 129 briefed the development of the Naval Squadron 129; raised the role and responsibility of the unit in protecting the continental shelf of the southern region and promoting production-business, contributing to the development of the Navy in particular and Vietnam in general. He also introduced Vietnam Naval Academy and its majors, thereby helping the school’s pupils get vocational orientations after high school graduation.

On this occasion, the delegation donated 15 bicycles worth VND1.5million each to 15 poor-but-excellent pupils.
