Province actively builds grassroots cultural lifestyle

On the afternoon of March 14, a delegation of the National Assembly’s Committee for Culture, Education, Youth, Adolescents and Children, led by Deputy Head of Hoang Thi Hoa, Deputy Head of the Committee worked with provincial People’s Committee about the local implementation of grassroots cultural lifestyle construction. Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with representatives of some sectors and departments in the province received the delegation.

At the working session, the delegation highly appreciated practical activities and new features done by the province in grassroots cultural lifestyle construction; exchanged with the province on the results of the implementation of the “All people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle” campaign; investment, construction of grassroots cultural institutions and their real situation…

Addressing the working session, Mr.Hung acknowledged contributive ideas by members of the delegation while presenting some advantages and disadvantages in the task of building the local cultural lifestyle at present. From this, the province has put forward several solutions to raise public awareness of civilized urban lifestyle, improving their spiritual life in the coming time…He also required the delegation to keep watch on some issues to consolidate the apparatus of organization of cultural-sports institutions at industrial parks as well as carrying out support policies for the province in this field.

*On the morning of the same day, the delegation had a working session with Bau Bang district.

Mrs.Hoa spoke highly of the efforts by the district in reinforcing and fostering a system of grassroots cultural institutions; strengthening the district’s Steering Board of the “All people consolidate to build cultural lifestyle” campaign. Upon this, the district reaped a lot of positive results in this field. There were 5 out of 7 communes recognized as newly-style rural ones…She also asked for the district to give training for those who are in charge of cultural institutions; improve methods towards a goal of raising locals’ spiritual life.

After the working session, the delegation carried out a fact-finding trip in some cultural institutions in hamlets of Long Binh, Ba Phai, Suoi Can; Long Nguyen and Cay Truong communes’ Cultural-Sports Centers.
