Province further supports speciality fruit orchards

Provincial People’s Committee has just issued a regulation on giving support for maintaining and developing the local speciality fruit orchards for the period of 2017-2021. Accordingly, speciality fruits, including mangosteen, durian, to nu jackfruit, lanzone and baccaurea in Thuan An town’s Binh Nham, Hung Dinh, An Thanh wards and An Son commune together with “oi” (small) pomelo and orange-tasting sweet pomelo in Tan Uyen town’s Bach Dang commune will get support from the regulation.

Particularly, along with support of 100% and 50% in terms of nurslings and agricultural materials, orchards will be subsided VND5million per hectare for new cultivation and VND5million per hectare for clearing in-field canals. For gardeners with bad harvest, they will be provided VND6.75million for tending in-field canals and be supported 70% of agricultural materials…Orchards with 500 square meters and above will enjoy the above support regulation within 5 years, beginning from 2017 to 2021…
