Province well realizes children’s rights

An inter-sectorial inspection delegation, led by Nguyen Huu Do, Deputy Minister of Education and Training, on October 3, had a working session with provincial People’s Committee about the local situation of the implementation of children work and children’s rights. Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received the delegation.

At the working session, members of the delegation exchanged with the province about the local results and shortcomings in the process of implementing the local children work and children’s rights. The whole province now has a total of 480,000 children. Over the past time, the province obtained positive results in the task of child education, care and protection. But, this task has still faced obstacles for change.

Addressing the working session, Mr.Do spoke highly the efforts by the province in realizing children’s rights while wanting that the province will further spend more resources on children work, replicate models taking care of workers’ offspring…

Prior to that, the delegation had a working session with Be Tho baby-sitting group and Dai Phuoc kindergarten in Thuan An town’s Binh Hoa ward.
