Provincial FFC: Solidarity, construction and development

After more than 23 years of construction and development, with the spirit of solidarity, flexibility and creation, provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) has actively contributed to effectively realizing patriotic emulation movements, campaigns and practical issues relating to the welfare of the people.

Upholding general strength

Over the past years, provincial FFCs at all levels mobilized the collective strength of the local people in building civilized urban and new-style rural areas, realizing activities of “paying debt of gratitude”, “when drinking water, remember its source”, taking care of the poor; implementing Party, government building; ensuring national defence-security.

To mark the 90^th anniversary of traditional day of Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Fatherland Front of Chanh Nghia ward in TDM city hands over a “great unity” house from the local Fund for the Poor to a resident in need of housing

In the 2015-2020 period, provincial FFC well realized the movement of “The entire country shares efforts in building new-style rural areas” in association with the campaign of “All people consolidate to build civilized urban, new-style rural areas”. As a result, the whole province mobilized locals to contribute more than 58,000 working days, donate more than 67,000 square meters to making rural roads; contribute more than VND61villion to provincial Fund for the Poor and its branches…

Provincial FFCs at all levels also paid more attention to relief work. In the 2014-2020 period, they received nearly VND63billion from organizations, individuals; held delegations to visit and give relief goods and money of nearly VND57billion for localities hit by disasters. They also mobilized resources for the local social welfare activities.

Over the past five years, provincial FFCs at all levels and their member organizations had close coordination with the local functional agencies to well realize the movement of “All people take part in defending national security” with many creative and self-managing models, thereby contributing to maintaining the local political security, social safety and order.

Especially, in 2020, provincial FFCs at all levels made efforts in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic. They mobilized more than VND262billion from organizations and individuals at home and abroad to support the local Covid-19 prevention and control.

Showing representative role for people

Over the past time, provincial FFCs at all levels excelled at making social criticism and monitoring; mobilizing locals to actively make contributive ideas to Party, government building, taking part in making the Party’s guidelines, resolutions pertaining to the great national unity bloc…

Being proud of the 90-year glorious tradition of Vietnam Fatherland Front, with their role and responsibility in the new context, provincial FFCs at all levels and each cadre will further make solidarity, mobilize people from all strata to strengthen and uphold the strength of the great national unity bloc, sharing efforts with the Party organizations and authorities at all levels to bring into full play internal forces, taking full advantage of opportunities, surmounting difficulties in order to successfully realize tasks on socio-economic development, ensuring national defence-security, taking part in Party, government building, being determined to develop Binh Duong into a modern, civilized, smart industrial hub.
