Provincial health authority to carry out 670 inspections of food safety

 Over the first 6 months of 2020, provincial health authority established 670 inspections of food safety at 7,599 establishments, in which 991 establishments violated food safety. Out of total 991 establishments violated, 22 establishments were sanctioned for administrative violations, gave warning to 969 establishments, destroyed 38.3 kg of raw materials and food that did not ensure food safety.

Also during this period, provincial health branch tested 5,070 food samples, found 135 samples (food samples and equipment samples) failed to meet regulations. In addition, the health branch also held trainings about food safety knowledge for food processors, producers, food poisoning training in companies and enterprises, street food training…
