Provincial Journalists’ Association marks 92nd anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day

Early June 20, provincial Journalists’ Association held a get-together to mark the 92^nd anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925-June 21, 2017) and present the 2^nd Nguyen Van Tiet press awards 2016 to outstanding press works. Attending the event were Le Huu Phuoc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; leaders of sectors, departments in the province and members of provincial Journalists’ Association.

The get-together aimed to review the glorious tradition of Vietnam revolutionary press during the past 92 years. Addressing the get-together, Mr.Phuoc said that province-based press agencies ware proactive to well realize dissemination of information about the Party and State’s policies and laws among people and reflect all aspects of the social life over the past time.

He also congratulated journalists who won the 2^nd Nguyen Van Tiet press award 2016. Their press works made practical contributions to the local cause of construction and development.  He wanted that province-based press agencies need to accompany the local socio-economic development; continued better disseminating the implementation of the Resolution of the 12^th national Party congress, resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party and State on socio-economic development…

At the get-together, provincial Journalists’ Association presented 5 mementoes “For Vietnam Press cause” to 5 journalists working for Binh Duong Newspaper and Binh Duong Radio-Television Station; the 2^nd Nguyen Van Tiet press awards 2016 to 37 press works with 4 A prizes, 7 B prizes, 12 C prizes and 14 consolation prizes.
