Provincial Labor Union supports workers, anti-Covid-19 forces, people in quarantine areas

*Localities without Covid-19 cases support others hit by pandemic

Early June 18, provincial Labor Union visited a number of businesses affected by Covid-19 pandemic in the province and gave give money for workers under isolation.

Accordingly, there were 3 companies receiving this support, namely  Dunlopillo Company (Vietnam) Co.Ltd. , Prestima (Vietnam) Co.Ltd. and Kim Xuong Shoes Vietnam Co., Ltd. The money given for employees of 3 companies was VND 85.5million. For cases of F1 who have to be isolated in concentrated isolation facilities, they received support of VND/1.5 million per person. And each F0 case was given the support level of VND3 million. The delegation also visited My Phuoc 3 housing compound in  Ben Cat town’s Thoi Hoa ward, where many employees of Puku Vietnam Co., Ltd. are under concentrated isolation while offering necessities to these workers, helping them well completing their quarantine period.

Nguyen Kim Loan, Chairwoman of provincial Labor Union said that along with giving support to F0 and F1 cases, workers who are isolated at home under the category of F2 will receive the support level of 500,000 VND per person. Currently, provincial Labor Union is making a list of businesses affected by the pandemic as well as the number of workers under isolation to give timely support for them, helping them overcoming difficulties. Provincial Labor Union has also continued mobilizing businesses and donors to support money and necessities  for workers who are facing difficulties, due to the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic.

*On the same day, provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with provincial Military Command to offer necessities to those living in the blockade, medical isolation areas and anti-Covid-19 forces  in Tan Uyen town and some checkpoints in Thu Dau Mot city.

The total value of necessities to support Tan Uyen town  for Covid-19 prevention and control in this phase was VND130 million. Provincial Red Cross also supported necessities, fruits... for anti-Covid-19 forces at some checkpoints in Thu Dau Mot city’s Chanh My and Hiep An wards.

*On June 18, provincial Red Cross Society received more support commodities from localities and individuals across the province, including 1 ton of fruits from Phu Giao district; 1,000 bags of rice paper from Dau Tieng district’s Red Cross Society and 1,000 glasses of bird's nest sweet soup from Vu Thi Tuat in Dau Tieng district.

Nguyen Thi Le Trinh, Chairwoman of provincial Red Cross Association said that during the fourth wave of Covid-19 pandemic, provincial Red Cross Association has continued receiving more resources from localities without Covid-19 cases for others hit by the pandemic. It is not only a timely sharing in difficult times, but also shows the "joint effort and consensus" of all-level authorities,  sectors, mass organizations and people in the fight against the pandemic.
