Provincial leaders present gifts to families of contributions in Binh Duong province

In the morning of July 26, on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of Martyrs' Day (from July 27, 1947 to July 27, 2021), leaders of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province visited and presented gifts to families and people with meritorious services in localities in the province.

Along with that, many localities also had solemn and meaningful gratitude activities on Martyrs' Day.
Comprehensive care and attention
In Di An city, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee cum Chairman of the provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to Mr. Tran Ngoc Giao, Hero of the People's Armed Forces and wounded soldier, Mr. Tran Van Hong, a wounded soldier, and Mr. Tran Ngoc Khuu, a wounded soldier living in Dong Hoa ward.


Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member and Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee, visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Tu in Long Binh hamlet of Long Nguyen commune in Bau Bang district

At each destination, the delegation gave each individual a gift worth VND 1 million and VND 2 million in cash. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Vo Van Minh graciously wished for each family's health and expressed his great gratitude for the great contributions of families and policy beneficiaries in the struggle for the protection and defense of the Fatherland and national independence; at the same time, he encouraged them to always try to rise up in life and to be a shining example for generations to follow.
Visiting, encouraging, and giving gifts worth VND 1 million and VND 2 million in cash to 2 typical policy families in Long Nguyen commune of Bau Bang district, the family of Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Tu at Long Binh hamlet and the family of wounded soldier Nguyen Van Thau at Muong Dao hamlet; on behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Standing Member cum Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization and Chairman of the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee expressed their condolences and deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of families during the years of the resistance war to regain independence and freedom for the nation. Mr. Nguyen Van Loc also wished that the families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition and encourage generations to well observe the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, contributing to build up a more civilized and modern homeland. In addition to direct visit to the above 2 families, the delegation also gave gifts to 4 other policy families in the commune.

To constantly maintain revolutionary tradition
In the morning of July 26, the provincial delegation led by Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Standing Member and Head of the Propaganda of the provincial Party Committee, visited and presented gifts to policy families in Thuan An city.

On this occasion, the delegation directly visited and presented gifts worth VND 1 million dong and VND 2 million in cash to Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Dinh and Mr. Le Van U, a war invalid at Lai Thieu ward. At each destination, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh graciously inquired about the health and life of current policy families. On behalf of the provincial leaders and the delegation, Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh expressed her deep gratitude to the contributions and dedications of policy individuals and families in the revolutionary cause of the Party and the State; at the same time, they wish the policy individuals and families to always be healthy, and especially be safe during the epidemic. In addition to direct visit to 2 families, the delegation also gave gifts to 4 other policy families in Lai Thieu ward.

In Thu Dau Mot city, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Standing Member of the provincial Party Committee and Secretary of Thu Dau Mot city Party Committee and leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs visited and presented gifts to two policy beneficiaries of Phu Hoa ward, the Vietnamese heroic mother Huynh Thi Nhon, whose 2 children were martyrs and Mr. Huynh Van Liem, a wounded soldier. On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong recognized the contributions of policy families who had merits to the cause of national liberation; at the same time, he wished that families and individuals would continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition to always be good examples for the younger generation and their children to follow.

Also on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of Martyrs' Day, in the morning of July 26, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Pham Van Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the leader of Ben Cat town arrived, visited and gave gifts to 2 policy families in Tan Dinh ward.

The delegation visited and gave gifts to the family of Vietnamese heroic mother Truong Thi Nhanh (born in 1920) and the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia (a war invalid). At each destination, the delegation graciously wished them good health and expressed the gratitude of the whole society to policy families for their important contributions in the cause of national liberation. The members of the delegation also hoped that policy families would continue to encourage their children to always promote the family's revolutionary tradition and be exemplary in implementing the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State and local regulations.

In recent years, along with efforts to strive and focus on socio-economic development, the Party Committee and authorities of Binh Duong province have always determined that taking care of the families of war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services is important and regular political tasks and has directed the implementation to achieve many positive results; this contributed to improve the material and spiritual life of meritorious people. The whole province has more than 64,000 people who have been recognized and given preferential treatment for people with meritorious services to the revolution; of whom, monthly allowances are paid to over 7,900 with an amount of over VND 14.1 billion a month (funded from the central budget).
