Provincial leaders receive CEO of India’s Tata Coffee Limited

On the afternoon of August 16, Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation received Sanjiv Sarin, CEO of India-based Tata Coffee Limited and Tata Coffee Vietnam Co.Ltd.

At the reception, Mr.Nam informed leaders of Tata Coffee Limited of the local economic performance over the past time, especially investment attraction. As of August, 2017, the province has lured more than 2,900 FDI projects capitalized at more than US$27billion, including 12 ones from India totaling more than US$100million. He emphasized that provincial leaders and Tata Coffee Vietnam Co.Ltd. has selected VSIP IIA to deploy the company’s project and wanted that it will go into operation soon.

Mr.Sanjiv Sarin thanked provincial leaders for their warm welcome while wanting that they will further create favorable conditions for the company to work effectively. He also pledged that the company will comply with the province’s regulations during its investment process.

*The same day, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received and worked with Sanjiv Sarin, CEO of India-based Tata Coffee Limited and Tata Coffee Vietnam Co.Ltd.

At the reception, Mr.Liem pledged that the province will continue well meeting requirements of investors in the process of production and business here while wanting that the company will hasten the progress of construction of its factory to be able to work soon.

*Tata Coffee Vietnam Co.Ltd. yesterday also held a ceremony to start construction of its instant coffee factory project with the annual capacity of 5,000 tons of instant products.

Being established in 1922, Tata Coffee Limited is a large-scale corporation of India and has got involved in the fields of steel, agriculture, construction, coffee processing…in Vietnam. Tata Coffee Vietnam Co.Ltd. is the second large project of the corporation in Vietnam with the annual capacity of 5,000 tons of instant products. It covers 8 hectares with the total investment capital of US$60million.
