Provincial leaders receive General Directors of Friesland Campina Vietnam and ECCO Corporation of Denmark

On the afternoon of August 1, Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee received Arnoud van den Berg, the outgoing General Director Friesland Campina Vietnam Company who came to bid farewell to him.

At the reception, Mr.Arnoud van den Berg reported the company’s results in 2018 and said that the company will further improve its products’ quality and pattern at customers’ demand. In 2018, the company’s products were exported to 10 countries in the region. He also thanked provincial leaders for their efforts in facilitating the company’s development.

Mr.Liem wanted that the company will continue effectively working and make milk support for pupils. He also informed the General Director of the local socio-economic development in 2018. Noticeably, the province successfully hosted the World Technopolis Association (WTA) summit and the Horasis meeting 2018, which was highly appreciated by international friends…

*The same day, Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee welcomed Alecxander Christopher Falter, CEO of ECCO Footwear Company of Denmark.

After nearly 3 years of operation in the province, ECCO Corporation decided to build its new factory of 12 hectares in the Bau Bang Industrial Park with a total investment capital of US$90million. It is expected to be put into operation in 2020. This is the sixth factory of the corporation in Vietnam.

Mr.Alecxander Christopher Falter thanked provincial leaders for their efforts in creating favorable conditions for the company to be able to implement the project successfully; simultaneously pledged to observe the law of Vietnam, pay attention to taking care of laborers, well realize environmental protection…

At the reception, Mr.Liem wanted that the project will be put into operation soon. The province will further improve administrative reforms, pay attention to infrastructure investment, creating advantageous conditions for enterprises to work effectively.
