Provincial leaders receive new Chairman of KOCHAM

On the afternoon of April 16, Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation received Kim Won Sik, the new Chairman of the Republic of Korea Chamber of Commerce (KOCHAM) in the province.

At the reception, Mr.Nam congratulated Mr.Kim Won Sik on his new position while wanting that the new Chairman will further develop schools in the province and make the linkage with more Korean enterprises in order to foster together with contributions to the community. Provincial leaders will create favorable conditions for KOCHAM to work and for the new Chairman of KOCHAM to fulfill his entrusted tasks.

Mr.Kim Won Sik also thanked provincial leaders for their efforts in supporting KOCHAM and Korean enterprises to work effectively. With his new position, he pledged to connect with more Korean enterprises and popularize the image of the local investment climate to Korean enterprises.

*The same day, Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee welcomed Kim Won Sik and said that the province has to date lured more than 3,585 FDI enterprises from 64 countries and territories with a total registered capital of more than US$33.1billion. Among these countries and territories, Korea ranks the fourth with US$3.08billion from 726 projects, mainly in industries of healthcare, food processing, footwear…

He also spoke highly of the investment effectiveness of Korean enterprises, contributions by KOCHAM to the local socio-economic development and wanted that KOCHAM will act as a bridge between Korean enterprises and the province.

For his part, Mr.Kim Won Silk said that Korean enterprises are very impressive with the province’s investment climate. Many Korean enterprises are planning to promote investment in the province and KOCHAM will introduce more Korean enterprises to the province for investment.
