Provincial leaders visit, extend New Year greetings to Cambodia’s Kratie

On the afternoon of April 10, a delegation of Binh Duong province’s leaders, led by Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee continued visiting and extending New Year greetings to the government and people of Kratie province in Cambodia.

At the meeting, leaders of the two localities informed each other of their local socio-economic development, national defence-security over the past time. They were also very delight at achievements done by the two localities over the past time, especially the sustainable friendship between the two countries and the two localities.

Mr.Liem also sent a New Year greeting letter of Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee of Vietnam, Secretary of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee to Sor Chomrong, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chief of Kratie province on the occasion of the Chol Chnam Thmay New Year festival. On behalf of the delegation, Mr.Liem extended good wishes to the Party, government and people of Kratie province on this occasion. Mt.Sor Chomrong also expressed his deep gratitude to the Party, government and people of Vietnam and Binh Duong for their huge efforts in helping Cambodia free from Pol Pot's genocidal regime as well as creating favorable conditions for the country and Kratie province to develop in all aspects.

On this occasion, a cooperation agreement between Binh Duong provincial Military Command and Kratie provincial Military Sub-Area was also inked. In addition, Binh Duong province’s Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association in collaboration with physicians from provincial Military Command provided free medical check-up and medicine for more than 400 needy people in Kratie province with a total expense of more than VND200million.
