Provincial Party Standing Committee pays Tet gift visit to religious dignitaries

Early January 21, a delegation of provincial Standing Party Committee, led by Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation visited, extended Tet greetings to Giuse Nguyen Tan Tuoc, Bishop of Phu Cuong diocese and Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) Executive Council cum Chief of the VBS’s Southern Office and Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha. The event was also attended by Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr.Nam informed these religious dignitaries of the local socio-cultural and economic development and preparatory work for the organization of Party congresses at all levels in 2020. He also acknowledged contributions by religious organizations in the province, contributing to victoriously implementing political tasks, strengthening the great national unity bloc and building up a more and more civilized and sustainable Binh Duong homeland.

The same day, provincial Religious Committee also visited, extended Tet greetings to the local religious dignitaries.
