Provincial People's Committee demands to continue strictly implementing measures of COVID-19 prevention control

To implement Official telegram No. 541/CD-TTg dated April 23th 2021 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and fighting, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee has issued Official Letter 1745/UBND-VX to request departments, branches, political unions, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities, and related units urgently comply with Ministry of Health's recommendations, especially mandatory wearing of face masks in public places, at events with large people's gathering, on public transport. 

Branches, agencies, units, organizations, enterprises... must regularly make self-assessment of the implementation of epidemic prevention control measures, update the result of self-assessment on anti-epidemic map system; To step up inspection and urge the implementation of epidemic prevention control measures within and under local management, especially at medical establishments, schools, tourist establishments, production establishments, conventional markets, supermarkets, bus stations, strictly handle organizations and individuals that violate epidemic prevention and control; Proactively update and complete plans to be ready for all situations of epidemic outbreak. If there are detected cases, it is necessary to focus on directing and immediately applying measures to localize, trace, isolate, and resolutely not let the epidemic spread on a large scale. The application of measures of social distancing, blockade, and isolation must ensure safety, but prevent production and business stagnation on an excessively necessary scale; minimize adverse impacts on production, business and people's life.

In particular, the Chairman of Provincial People's Committee asked the units to continue to limit the organization of unnecessary events, activities gathering many people; or an organized event must strictly apply measures in accordance with regulations. The Chairman assigned Provincial Police, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue enhancing the checking, quick detection, and strict handling of illegal entries into the province according to regulations. Provincial Department of Health urges the units to strictly comply with Official Letter and promptly report the epidemic situation to Provincial People's Committee.

* On April 27, Office of Provincial Party Committee sent an Official Letter No. 367-CV/VPTU to units, agencies and localities to announce the postponement of gathering to commemorate the 46th Anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification.

Accordingly, on April 27, Provincial People's Committee issued Notice No. 104/TB-UBND to cease the 46th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30) to strictly implement Direction of the Prime Minister at Official telegram No. 541/CD-TTg dated 23 April 2021 on strengthening implementation of COVID-19 prevention control.  Therefore, Provincial People's Committee asked agencies and units that received the invitation to meet at 9.00 am on April 29th 2021 at Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center to promptly inform relevant delegates about the postponement of this meeting by many appropriate forms.
