Provincial People's Committee leaders receive Ambassador of Finland in Vietnam

On April 23, Nguyen Thanh Truc, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, received Kari Kahiluoto - Ambassador of Republic of Finland - visiting Binh Duong province.

At the meeting, Nguyen Thanh Truc informed Kari Kahiluoto about the socio-economic condition and preferential policies of Binh Duong province; orientation of socio-economic development and investment attraction of the province. In the coming time, Binh Duong will focus on building and developing infrastructure; attracting investors in fields of hi-tech and environment-friendly application towards sustainable development. In addition, the province is implementing the smart city building strategy; hence it is very important for Finnish companies to share their experience and support the implementation of solutions and models of Binh Duong Smart City development.

Kari Kahiluoto was impressed by the dynamic growth of Binh Duong, especially the image of a smart city developed by the province. He also congratulated socio-economic accomplishments of Binh Duong, especially the improvement of provincial business investment environment. Kari Kahiluoto also informed about public investment support capital and other financial instruments to support cooperation between Finland and Binh Duong. On this occasion, the Ambassador introduced a number of Finnish companies having strengths and good potential to cooperate with Binh Duong in fields of clean water and sanitation, waste treatment, education consulting, technology, construction, architecture, planning...
