Provincial Physical Training-Sports Center wins 427 various medals at national, international tournaments

In 2016, provincial Physical Training-Sports Center advised provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on sending teams to 92 tournaments at home and abroad, winning 427 various medals (148 gold, 164 silver and 117 bronze) or 110.34% of the set target. The figure was reported by the center at a conference reviewing the local sports activities in 2016 on the morning of January 13.

The center also organized 20 sports tournament in the province, absorbing 2,330 athletes; sent teams to 20 regional sports tournaments and grasped 149 various medals… Upon the above results, it continued setting up orientations and tasks for 2017, especially planned to prepare sports delegations for sports festivals at all levels towards the 8^th National Sports Festival 2018 to be held in Ha Noi.

On this occasion, provincial People’s Committee awarded the certificates of merit to 2 collectives, 27 athletes and coaches with excellent achievements. Provincial Department of Culture, Information and Tourism also presented the certificates of merit to outstanding individuals in the local sports movements in 2016 (photo).
