Provincial State employees’ Trade Union absorbs nearly 600 trade unionists

Provincial State employees’ Trade Union, on July 19, held a sports festival on the occasion of the 90^th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929-July 28, 2019).

The sports festival attracted nearly 600 trade unionists. They competed in the men and women’s tug-of-war events. Finally, first prize in the men’s tug-of-war event went to the alliance of the trade union locals of provincial People’s Committee Office and Department of Foreign Affairs. Second and third prizes belonged to the trade union local of provincial Department of Transport and the trade union local of provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment, respectively. The organizers also awarded a consolidation prize to the trade union local of provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Whilst, first, second and third prizes in the women’s tug-of-war event were awarded to the trade union locals of provincial Customs Department, Tax Department and Statistics Department, respectively.

*The same day, Phu Giao district’s Labor Union held a get-together to mark the 90^th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union and honor outstanding trade union officials in 2019.

At the get-together, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union during the past 90 years. On this occasion, the organizers also honored 90 outstanding trade unionists in 2019; awarded the certificate of merit of the Vietnam Labor Union to an outstanding individual in the local trade union activities in 2018…
