Provincial Youth Union recruits 1,000 volunteers to support Covid-19 prevention and control

Amid the complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic, provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee has recruited 1,000 volunteers for the rapid response squad in Covid-19 prevention and control. After registering to join the squad, Youth Union members will be trained with necessary skills for pandemic prevention and control.

According to provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee, the squad of young volunteers for rapid response to Covid-19 prevention and control in the province now has 250 members, with the task of supporting communication and propaganda on pandemic prevention and control; supporting checkpoints,  blockade, isolation areas...in the province. Among the 1,000 recruited volunteers, most of them will assist the tasks of inputting data when taking samples for testing and support medical staff in taking samples for  testing at the local needs for pandemic prevention and control.

Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, Steering Committee of the Youth Volunteer Squad for quick response to Covid-19 prevention and control have also coordinated with Tan Uyen town’s Youth Union Standing Committee to hand over 3 volunteers who are students to give support in concentrated isolation areas for Covid-19 prevention and control in Phu Chanh ward. The efforts by volunteers showed their voluntary spirit in joining hands to fight Covid-19 pandemic.
