Quarantine for animals strengthened

In the first half of 2020, there were no cases on dangerous epidemic in poultry and cattle reported in North Tan Uyen district.

The district’s functional agencies also strengthened quarantine for animals, products as well as their slaughtering. They made 22 inter-sectorial inspection tours, detected and handled 6 wrong cases with a total fine of VND15.8million and destroyed  exhibits.

In addition, the district’s People’s Committee instructed the local functional agencies to well realize solutions against epidemic diseases in poultry and cattle. The whole district now has a total of 1.77 million fowls, 1,759 buffaloes, cows and 51,426 pigs.
