Que Huong charity center marks 16th anniversary

Que Huong charity center in Di An town, on December 10, held a ceremony to mark its 16^th anniversary (December 10, 2001-December 10, 2017).

Donors donate gifts to the center

After 16 years of development, the center has been built very spaciously on a total area of nearly one hectare with items at care and education for children herein. In 2016, the center put its 2 facilities into operation in Dong Nai province’s Vinh Cuu district and is completing legal procedures in order to put its third facility into operation in Binh Thuan province’s Ham Tan district.

Along with educating and bringing up more than 340 disabled and orphan children, the center created jobs and offered help to thousands of children with difficult circumstances nationwide; built houses of compassion, awarded gifts, scholarships, wheelchairs, bicycles…to needy people with a total expense of nearly VND20billion.

On this occasion, the center presented 2,000 gifts, 50 scholarships and 20 wheelchairs to disabled people, poor-but-excellent pupils in and out of the province. Donors also donated more than VND760million to the center, contributing to taking care of disadvantaged children.
