Religious organizations extend Tet greetings to provincial leaders

Early January 16, delegations of religious communities in the province visited, extended Tet greetings to provincial leaders. Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with representatives of sectors, departments in the province received these delegations.

At the reception, Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Deputy Secretary General of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha expressed his delight at socio-economic achievements done by the province last year. On behalf of the local Buddhist community, he thanked provincial leaders for supporting the local Buddhist activities.

On this occasion, provincial leaders welcomed representatives of the South Protestant Association’s Binh Duong branch, Tay Ninh Cao Dai religious society, Tien Thien Cao Dai religious society, Vo Vi temple…

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Loc spoke highly of the role of religious organizations in making contributions to the development of the province while wanting they will continue living with the motto of “good life, good religion”, upholding the strength of the great national unity bloc, contributing to building up a prosperous and beautiful Binh Duong…

*On the afternoon of the same day, a delegation of Phu Cuong diocese visited and extended Tet greetings to provincial leaders. Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial People’s Council; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with representatives of sectors, departments in the province welcomed the delegation.

On behalf of the local Catholic community, Bishop Giuse Nguyen Tan Tuoc expressed his delight at the local development and trust in the leadership of provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee. He also thanked provincial leaders for their efforts in creating favorable conditions for the local Catholic community to practice their religion over the past time.

At the reception, Mr.Loc spoke highly of contributions by the local Catholic community to the great national unity bloc, contributing to maintaining the local political security and building up a more and more prosperous Binh Duong.
