“Return-to-the root” trip held

Thuan An town’s Ex-Youth Volunteer Association and Youth Union, on June 23, held a “return-to-the root” trip named “Following the footsteps of heroes”, with the participation of nearly 50 youth volunteers and Youth Union members on the occasion of the 67^th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and the 70^th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and burn incense at the historical relic site of Thuan An Hoa war zone in Thuan An town; paid a visit to the monument of Vo Thi Sau and Minh Dam historical relic site in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

The trip aimed to educate the local young generation about the nation’s magnanimous revolutionary tradition, arouse patriotic spirit, belief and ideals for living among them.
