Scholarships awarded to privileged children

In response to the Action Month for children 2017 and the Vietnam Family Day (June 28), the Women’s Union of Binh An ward in Di An town has just opened piggybanks to raise money for the local study promotion fund and award 108 scholarships worth nearly VND17million to the local pupils with difficult circumstances.

This activity is annually held by the ward’s Women’s Union, contributing to encouraging the local poor pupils to rise up in study. On this occasion, the ward’s Women’s Union raised more than VND21million from piggybanks of its branches to the local study promotion fund.
