Sci-tech dissemination strengthened

Early March 7, provincial Union of Science-Technology Associations held a conference to review its activities in 2018 and implement tasks for 2019, in attendance of Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

As of late 2018, the union had a total of 17 member associations with more than 19,000 members. Last year, the union’s member associations, namely provincial Ornamental Creature Association, provincial Historical Science Association…, got considerable activities in organization development. The union also successfully organized a creative competition for teenagers and children; worked with relevant units to carry out subjects on all fields…

In 2019, the union will further disseminate the Politburo’s Direction No.42-CT/TW and provincial Party Committee’s Direction No.01-CT/TU on improving the quality and effectiveness of the union’s activities in the period of intensified industrialization and modernization; coordinate with relevant sectors, departments to make dissemination of information about science-technology…

Addressing the conference, Mr.Hung spoke highly of the efforts by the union in surmounting obstacles. In 2019, he suggested the union to boost sci-tech activities to serve Binh Duong smart city building…
