Seminar on power saving absorbs over 150 businesses

On the afternoon of May 19, provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with Southern Power Corporation held a conference on economical and effective use of energy, solutions on power saving of province-based businesses” with the participation of more than 150 businesses.

According to representative of provincial Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT), the province’s program on energy audit support and energy saving solutions in the period of 2012-2015 assisted 44 businesses to make energy audit and 23 others to take energy saving solutions with VND2.2billion and more than VND1.1billion, respectively.

Nguyen Van Huu, Vice-Director of provincial DoIT said that provincial DoIT will continue promoting the local program on energy audit support and energy saving solutions; strive to save at least 5%-10% of total energy output consumed by businesses…

On this occasion, provincial DoIT also honored many outstanding businesses in the task of energy saving last year.
