Sentimental donation to boundary sea and islands

In order to support the material and spirit lives of soldiers and people living and performing the task of protecting the border and islands, the youths in the province have strengthened their activities of taking care of exchanges between Binh Duong youths and families of fishermen, navy and people living and carrying out the task of preserving and protecting the nation at the border and sea islands.

Following the direction of the Provincial Youth League, in the past, the district, town, union and subordinate delegations have signed with the districts, towns and border posts of the border provinces and islands. In particular, the league of Thu Dau Mot is associated with the Chon Thanh District in Binh Phuoc; the league of provincial agencies signed brotherhood with Border Post 747 in Dak Lak; league of Thuan An Town affiliated with the Border Post 783 in Binh Phuoc; league of Tan Uyen town with the District of Loc Ninh in Binh Phuoc; league of Ben Cat town with the Border Post 781 in Binh Phuoc; league of Dau Tiep Rubber Company Limited with Bat Xat District in Lao Cai. In October, 2017, the delegation in the province organized nearly 150 activities, works, and youths’ works worth nearly VND 2 billion from the budget of "Nghia tinh bien gioi hai dao" (sentiment for the borders, sea and islands) fund managed by the provincial Youth League and funding from socialization at the affiliated youth leagues. Typically, the Provincial Youth League’s Standing Committee and Binh Duong Youth Medical College organized the program of springtime in Bu Gia Map district, Binh Phuoc province to provide medical treatment and medicine along with 100 gifts to ethnic minority people in border areas with a total value of nearly VND 50 million.

In particular, the Provincial Youth League has donated to the construction of a fresh water bathing zone and public toilets at the beach of Trieu Duong Bay in Phu Quy island district of Binh Thuan province and the mini soccer field for local cadres and soldiers of Level 2 Coast Guard Command worth nearly VND 800 million. The construction started on June 4, 2017 and were fulfilled in more than 3 months of construction to ensure the progress and put into use. With the total cost of construction of the project of VND 180 million dongs from the contribution of the delegations to the program launched by the provincial Youth League, the work has created conditions for youth union members and visitors to visit, have fun, and bathe in the picnic area to have with convenient, comfortable, clean toilet and fresh water. In addition, the Youth League has also carried out many meaningful works in the district of Phu Quy island such as playground for children on the island, works to implement 20 non-freshwater containers at Chaoyang Primary School, set up teams in volunteer activities, social security on the island in the youth volunteer campaign, activities of medical examination, medicine, gift packages along with fishermen to the sea.

The campaign is a meaning policy of, promoting the movement of the Union league on continual maintenance and development. At the same time, the sympathy and support of the Party committees, administrations, political system, youth union members and the whole society for the Youth League were formed. It can be said that this activity is of great political significance and represents the responsibility of youth for the border and islands of the nation.
