For rubber trees, up to now, the total area of ​​rubber trees in the province has reached 133,291 hectares (up 137 hectares compared to 2017), ranking the second in the whole country; productivity for latex reaches 1.8 tons a ha, higher than the national average (1.7 tons a ha). Rubber trees provide average income for companies and rubber growers in the province about 50 million VND / ha. Meanwhile, the area of ​​fruit trees in the province is currently nearly 6,800 ha (more than 50% compared to 2013), of which citrus area reaches nearly 3,400 ha, bringing a profit of 300-400 million VND a ha.

According to Pham Van Bong, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the livestock industry of the province is focusing on high-tech applications. At present, the province has 119 farms investing in cold breeding farms for breeding chickens, eggs for laying eggs and chickens with a total of 6.2 million heads (up 73% compared to 2013), 140 farms investing in raising porkers, High-yield breed pigs with a total of 425,000 heads, including 33 VietGAP-qualified farms. In addition, the province has 418 households investing in the production of urban agricultural models for aquaculture specialties, ornamental birds with the number of nearly 34,000 animals of all kinds.

Recently, the slaughtering process of cattle and poultry has been paid due attention to all levels and concerned branches of the province, the slaughtering on the floor does not guarantee veterinary hygiene and food safety conditions. replaced by semi-industrial hanging slaughtering system. There are 49/49 cattle and poultry slaughtering establishments in the whole province, where slaughtering is applied, the annual capacity is 28,935 buffaloes, cows, 790,423 pigs and nearly 12 million birds. The whole province also has 3 high-tech livestock and poultry husbandry zones, namely Ba Huan chicken farm, broiler breeding area, Tien Hung chicken egg and dairy cow breeding area of ​​Binh Duong Agricultural Development Joint Stock Company. . These breeding areas are currently operating very effectively and are a model for the development of high-tech livestock in the province in the future.

Promote the application of science and technology

According to the Department of Science and Technology, over the past years, the province has actively implemented the task of bringing science and technology in association with production models to improve the value chain, scientific and technical application of goods production. As a result, the implementation of this task has brought about high economic efficiency.

It can be mentioned as the Project "Building a model to apply advanced techniques of intensive farming of pomelo in the direction of VietGAP in Hieu Liem commune, Bac Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province", helped to form a specialized production area. Green pomelo in the direction of VietGAP, contributing to raising income for farmers and forming a brand of green skin pomelo for Hieu Liem pomelo production area. Besides, the project "Application of technical advances to build a model of VietGAP standard vegetable production in Thanh Hoi commune, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province", resolves technical issues to create quality output quantity for products, contributing to creating jobs for people, creating safe products for society.
