Social policy beneficiaries in Ben Cat under free medical check-up

Provincial Red Cross Society, on July 19, coordinated with provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board, Young Physicians’ Clubs, delegation of charity physicians, sectors, departments and mass organizations to provide free medical check-ups, medicine and gifts for policy beneficiary and poor families in Ben Cat town’s wards of My Phuoc and Thoi Hoa on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27. 1947-July 27, 2017) and provincial Red Cross Day (July 26). Attending the event were Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation, Honorary Chairman of provincial Red Cross Society.

Particularly, the delegation provided free medical check-ups and medicine for 300 policy beneficiaries and poor people. They were also presented gifts worth VND130,000 each.

On this occasion, provincial Red Cross Society also awarded the golden heart certificates to provincial Buddhist Sangha’s Charity Board, Young Physicians’ Clubs and delegation of charity physicians. The society also wanted to continue receiving contributions from organizations and individuals for policy beneficiary and poor households, helping them secure a better life.
