Socialization in caring for policy beneficiary families

Update: 14-01-2019 | 11:38:24

The policy of socialization in “paying debt of gratitude” has helped An Dien commune in Ben Cat town better care for the local policy beneficiary families

An Dien commune in Ben Cat town is now home to 587 policy beneficiaries. Along with the Party and State’s preferential policies, the commune paid special importance to realizing socialization in “paying debt of gratitude” work over the past time. The commune actively mobilized the local businesses to give gifts, saving books and build gratitude houses for policy beneficiaries. Noticeably, some businesses actively got involved in this work. Ngoc Dien Co.Ltd. was a typical example for this. In 2018, the company offered 50 gifts worth VND300,000 to families with extremely difficult circumstances every month.

On the occasion of the Tet festival 2019, as of now, the commune has mobilized 3 companies, namely Chan Kiet, FourSeasons Vietnam and Ngoc Dien, to donate 230 gifts worth VND69million to policy beneficiary families. In addition to significant gifts, over the past time, the commune implemented some “paying debt of gratitude” models such as those of building, upgrading gratitude houses, maintaining heroic Vietnamese mothers, giving care for war invalids, wounded soldiers…

Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of An Dien communal People’s Committee said that thanks to socialization in taking care of policy beneficiary families, the local “paying debt of gratitude” movement was developed widely and deeply. Many companies considered the “paying debt of gratitude” work as a right tribute with the “When drinking water, remember its source” moral principle. Hence, the lives of the local revolutionary contributors were improved a lot. In the coming time, the commune will further strengthen the work, contributing to stabilizing the local social welfare.
