In the morning of June 29, the Department of Statistics held a press conference to publish socio-economic statistics of Binh Duong in the first 6 months of 2020. Attending were leaders of departments in the province, representatives of agencies. Press inside and outside the province (in photo).

At the meeting, the leaders of the Statistical Office provided press agencies with relevant data and information on the socio-economic situation of Binh Duong in the first 6 months of 2020. Accordingly, despite meeting a lot of difficult due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, but some indicators still grew well over the same period in 2019. Specifically, the gross output of the province (GRDP) increased by 6.73%; Industrial production index (IIP) increased by 6.4%; total retail sales of goods and services increased by 9.4%; export turnover increased by 0.4%; total development investment capital of the whole society increased by 9.8%; attracting foreign direct investment reached USD 577 million; total state budget revenue decreased by 6.1%; creating new jobs for nearly 17,850 workers. 

At the press conference, the leaders of the Statistical Office answered questions of reporters and delegates on issues related to the provincial socio-economic situation.
