Summer youth volunteer campaign 2021 launched

Early June 11, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized a ceremony to launch the summer youth volunteer campaign 2021 in Di An city.

At the ceremony, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee set up youth volunteer squads that will get involved in such significant activities as directly supporting at quarantine points against Covid-19 pandemic; giving strength to officials, soldiers and people at the supply points outside the isolation areas; supporting online English teaching for Youth Union members; supporting Covid-19 prevention and control; giving first aid to patients from traffic accidents; carrying out the “pink vocation” campaign.

Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee also visited and donated gifts to officials, soldiers, medical staff, and young volunteers who are on duty in isolation areas while offering gifts to young workers with difficult circumstances in Di An city. Particularly, the delegation donated 1 ton of rice, funded by provincial Buddhist Sangha, Long Hung pagoda, the “Hat giong tu tam” Club of provincial Youth Union, and 23 support packages to young workers with sudden difficulties, with a total value of VND 25.5 million.

On this occasion, provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee also offered 200 boxes of soft drink, 200 liters of antiseptic liquid, 1,000 bottles of hand sanitizer, 40,000 masks for in Di An, TDM and Thuan An cities for  Covid-19 prevention and control (photo).
