Support activities for needy laborers

The Workers ‘Month 2020 has taken place with the support of Youth Unions at all levels, thereby taking timely care of laborer with difficult circumstances.

Accordingly, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has just honored 11 outstanding young workers in 2020. This aimed to encourage them to uphold their achievements in production-business, contributing to the local socio-economic development.

Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee offers support packages from the Support Fund for Poor Young Workers to needy workers

Along with this, provincial Youth Union Standing Committee donated 18 support packages worth VND21million from the Support Fund for Poor Young Workers to needy workers. The fund over the past years gave support to young workers with difficult circumstances, partially helping them surmount difficulties and rise up in life.

Tran Bao Lam, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union said that provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has instructed its branches to organize many activities accompanying laborers. Noticeably, they held “Thousand of beloved gift baskets” programs in Covid-19 prevention, visited and offered gifts to needy workers, provided them with free medical check-up and medicine…, thereby giving them timely support.

As a part of activities taking care of laborers, the “Zero market-day” program was very significant, absorbing hundreds of poor laborers. The market-day included 20 booths providing needy laborers with free necessities like rice, instant noodles, eggs, masks, hand sanitizer bottles, cooking oil, soya sauce, drinking water…Each person was given 5 items free of charge. Many other significant activities such as job introduction, folk games, legal consultancy…
