Support packages for trade unionists, laborers with families hit by floods

*CEP offers train tickets to needy workers

Early January 25, Ben Cat town’s Labor Union offered support packages worth VND3million each to 31 trade unionists, laborers with families affected by floods in the central region last year.

The program gave opportunely encouragement for these families, helping them surmount difficulties, soon stabilizing their lives. This also aimed to help trade unionists and workers keep their mind on work and have long attachment with enterprises.

*On the afternoon of January 25, TDM city-based Capital Aid Fund for Employment of the Poor (CEP) branch donated 82 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to workers with difficult circumstances, due to Covid-19 pandemic, at Hai My Co.Ltd. in Thuan An town.

Under the “Spring train” program, city-based CEP branch also supported 18 train tickets worth VND30million for needy workers to return home for Tet; visited 2 workers from central region hit by floods…

It is known that the branch has implemented 2 programs giving 720 gifts worth more than VND425million for members, laborers with difficult circumstances at 14 companies, units in the province on the occasion of the Tet (Lunar New Year) festival 2021.
