Sympathies sent to Russia on heavy losses in Aeroflot plane incident

Party General Secretary and President of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong on May 6 offered sympathies to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the heavy losses from the incident involving an Aeroflot plane at Sheremetyevo International Airport, Moscow.

The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also extended sympathies to his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev.

On May 5, an Aeroflot plane made an emergency landing and caught fire at Sheremetyevo International Airport, only 30 minutes after taking off from the airport. The incident killed 41 crew members and passengers.
