Tan Binh tops 2017 provincial open age groups chess tournament

The 2017 Binh Duong Open Age Groups Chess Tournament in celebration of the Party, Lunar New Year has just concluded.

This year’s tournament absorbed 180 players (120 male, 60 female) from 16 units in and out of the province.

Finally, HCM city’s Tan Binh district topped the tournament with 6 gold medals, followed by Tan Uyen town and HCM city’s Cultural House for Children with 3 gold medals each, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Di An town with 2 gold medals each; and Tay Ninh, Dong Nai and North Tan Uyen with 1 gold medal each.
