Tan Uyen responds to “Clean up the World” campaign 2018

In response to the “Clean up the World” campaign 2018 under the theme of “Waste management for sustainable rural environment”, the People’s Committee of Tan Uyen town made environmental hygiene in Thanh Phuoc ward last weekend.

Accordingly, more than 200 officials, civil servants, Youth Union members and pupils cleaned up the 2-km stretch of the road from the People’s Committee of Thanh Phuoc ward to Tan Luong petrol station. The People’s Committee of the town also donated 20 public wastebaskets to the People’s Committee of the ward.

It is known that on this occasion, all communes, wards, agencies, schools and industrial compounds in the town have also engaged activities in such environmental protection as collecting waste, planting and tending green trees, clearing canals…
