TDM, Tan Uyen organize Vietnam Family Festival

Early June 17, TDM city’s Division of Culture-Information and Sports held the Vietnam Family Festival 2017 with the theme of “Building human beings’ personality from moral and lifestyle education in family”.

At the festival, participating families exchanged and competed in events: slow bike race and cooking.

*To mark the 16^th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (June 28, 2001-June 28, 2017), Tan Uyen town’s Division of Culture and Information held the festival for outstanding cultural-sports families 2017.

The festival absorbed 12 families with attractive games, aiming to make deep and wide dissemination of information about the significance of Vietnam Family Day. This was also a chance for participant families to exchange and share experience in life and skills in building up happy families while honoring the cultural values of Vietnamese families, thereby heightening the role of family to society in preserving national cultural identities and affirming the responsibility of the society for family work.
