The call for doctors, nurses, physicians, medical staffs and retirees in Binh Duong province to join up Covid-19 prevention and control

Update: 02-08-2021 | 20:30:51

Dear people’s doctors, elite doctors, nurses, specialists, medical staffs and retirees in Binh Duong province,

Medicine is a very special and noble profession in the society. During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh taught: "Doctors are like fathers" and famed physician Le Huu Trac once said: "There is no profession as virtuous as medicine". That nobility is always honored by the Party, the State and people who are grateful for the contributions, dedication and silent sacrifices of doctors in the cause of caring and protecting people for more than 66 years and honored by Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 to February 27, 2021).

As we all know, the recent outbreak of Covid-19 caused by a new strain in the southern provinces including Binh Duong province has caused strong impacts on all economic and social activities of the province and cause serious consequences for the health of the community. Our dear Binh Duong province is going through an unprecedented difficult time before the Covid-19 pandemic. The entire political system from the province to the grassroots, branches, levels and all classes of people have joined in with the highest and most drastic concentration to prevent, control and prevent the Covid-19 epidemic.

The province's health sector has made unremitting efforts regardless of day and night along with the reinforcement and support forces of Ministry of Health and localities throughout the country to actively carry out epidemic control against Covid-19. However, the rapid spread of SARS-CoV-2 by the Delta variant made the epidemic prevention and control difficult and treatment capacity overloaded.

It is forecasted that in the near future, the number of patients is likely to increase very quickly. The epidemic situation has spread to the hostels, companies and factories with a large number of workers; the disease is spreading and difficult to be controlled.

Facing such situation, the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee expressed its respect and appeal to the entire team of doctors, nurses, experts, medical staffs, and senior physicians who have with you a passion for the sector, please register to volunteer to participate in Covid-19 prevention and control activities of Binh Duong province and join hands to contribute and share a part of the burden with the health sector.

All for the health of the community, for the lives and peace of the people; to contribute to the determination to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic, to soon return to normal life, for the aspiration to make Binh Duong province more and more prosperous.

Our deepest gratitude!

FOR PROVINCIAL VIETNAMESE FATHERLAND FRONT COMMITTEE

CHAIRMAN
