At communes and wards, 88 Election Boards and 167 Election Teams have been established. The list of candidates and voters at 215 locations in the town have been established, publicized and posted. The total number of voters up to now is 293,177 and is being reviewed and updated. Voting facilities are guaranteed. The local Election Commission has received 279 seals and 334 ballot boxes and distributed them to communes and wards. Election propaganda has been promoted from the town to the communes and wards in a variety of forms like radio broadcasts, electronic information pages, and visual propaganda. Conferences and activities on social networks, thereby, help people understand the significance of the election. In addition, the committees of communes and wards have well done the mobilizing of companies, businesses, and hostel owners to accompany the government in the process of carrying out election propaganda in the localities. Covid-19 prevention and control ensured

In the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, Tan Uyen town determined that disease prevention and control must be the top concern to ensure a successful election. Therefore, from the town to communes and wards, determination has been made to strengthen and drastically foster Covid-19 prevention and control by well implementing the "5K" message of Ministry of Health and the "5 No’s" of the Standing Committee of the town Party Committee. At the same time, very thoughtful plan should be prepared to ensure absolute safety on holding election, not to let the disease spread.

In particular, the health sector has developed two options for election day. Bui Van Tien, Head of Health Division of Tan Uyen Town and Head of the town's Sub-Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control, said that the sub-committee has developed 3 options. Specifically, option 1 (no Covid-19 cases in the area) is to organize polling stations as planned; at the same time, at each polling station, there will be 1 table equipped with masks, thermometers, antiseptic solutions, gloves, medical declarations (used when necessary); recommends the implementation of the "5K" requirement of Ministry of Health; option 2 (with Covid-19 cases in the area) would divide the election teams into the constituencies. The solution for disease prevention and control is to equip a table with full equipment as in option 1; at the same time, it is mandatory to comply with the "5K" message of Ministry of Health. In the case of possible F2 exposures, a mobile election team should be established to go to each household for voters to vote. As for option 3 (Covid-19 disease spreading in the community) zoning would be defined and reported to Election Commission for opinions.
