The press timely inform, fully and correctly give feedback on fields of politics, economy, society of the province

On 25 Dec, Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee organized a quarterly press conference to inform provincial socio-economic situation in 2019, orientations for 2020. Lê Hữu Phước, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of Propagation and Education Committee, chaired the meeting.

According to reports, in the fourth quarter of 2019, the press agencies inside and outside the province timely informed, gave fully feedback on events and happenings in fields of politics, economy, society, national defense and security throughout the country and in the province. In particular, the press agencies strongly communicated local political, economic, cultural and social events. The report also said that in 2019, the province's socio-economic growth, national defense and security situation achieved good results. Most growth targets were better than ones in 2018. Industry, trade and service sectors increased significantly; the export market was increasingly expanded and maintained a trade surplus; domestic and foreign investment attraction also increased over the same period in 2018.  Politics, national defense, and security were secured, promptly and effectively solved new and complicated issues about security and order...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phước thanked the press agencies for assisting well the information and communication work. Mr. Phước also noted journalists' opinions on security, order, traffic safety, housing projects, environment ... He asserted that in 2020, many major economic and political events took place, such as Party Congress at all levels, the 90th anniversary of the Party, 45 years Liberation Day of the South etc. press agencies should timely fully have orientation to report and communicate these important events.
