Third stage of the 6th Open Binh Duong Provincial Television Cycling Tournament started

On occasion of the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (19 May 1890 - 19 May 2019) and 65^th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (7 May 1954 - 7 May 2019), on May 18, the opening ceremony of the 3rd stage of the 6th Open Binh Duong Provincial Television Cycling Tournament 2019 - Ton Dai Thien Loc Cup took place at Provincial Convention Exhibition Center. Attending the ceremony were Le Huu Phuoc, Provincial Party Standing Committee’s Member, Head of Provincial Party Commission for Propagation and Education.

In this stage, nearly 200 riders of 17 bicycle clubs competed in 2 age groups, from 16-40 years old and 41-55 years old, starting from Provincial Convention Exhibition Center to Long An with total length over 92 km. The results were that in Duc Hoa town (Long An), cycler Tran Quoc Tuan of Tan Phu team went first. At second racing route in Ben Luc town (Long An), Mai Cong Hieu, the Golden Bear team, won. In individual 16-40 ages content, the first runner and yellow jersey belonged to Nguyen Trong Hoa (Saigon Sport Biker team in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City); 41-55 ages, Mai Cong Hieu excellently won the stage and the yellow jersey.

At the end of the 3rd stage, cyclers will have 2 months to prepare for the 4th stage of the tournament that will take place on Jul 27 to Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
