Thousands of Tet gifts given for disadvantaged people

Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (FFC) yesterday held delegations to visit and offer more than 1,600 Tet gifts worth VND300,000 each to disadvantaged people at province-based social support centers.

In the visiting places, Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial FFC extended best regards and Tet greetings to the above disadvantaged people.

On this occasion, provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee also donated VND185million to 11 social support facilities in the province.

*The Youth Unions of Tay Nam high school, Ben Cat high school and Ben Cat continuing education center have just organized a program “For beloved juniors” and stricken up friendship with Young Pioneer Organizations in the town.

On this occasion, they also organized attractive folk games and offered Tet gifts worth VND7million to needy pupils.

*The Young Pioneer Organizations of Tan Dong Hiep ward and An Binh ward in Di An ward have just held a friendship making ceremony and donated Tet gifts worth VND10million  to poor children at Tan An quarter’s charity class.
