Thu Dau Mot City to put telecommunication cable underground

Four years after implementing Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated November 14, 2016 of Provincial Party Committee and Action Plan No. 35-KH/TU dated December 12, 2016 of Thu Dau Mot City Party Committee on urban construction and development of Thu Dau Mot in period 2016-2020 and following years, a number of key tasks of urban renovation, such as the maintenance and repair of traffic infrastructure, public lighting, signs, traffic lights and care of trees, flowers in the city are regularly and timely performed.

In addition, the city government regularly cooperate with functional units, businesses to renovate sidewalks, street trees, underground telecommunication cables of 42 streets, bunch telecommunication cables of 87 streets. In the coming time, Thu Dau Mot City will continue to underground and bunch telecommunication cables of streets; strives for over 80% main streets to have underground or bunched telecommunication cables until the end of 2025; further improve the management, maintenance and repair of sidewalks, signs managed by the city to effectively perform urban renovation.
