Thu Dau Mot City Youth Union to exchange garbage for face masks

In order to help provincial people have enough face masks for Covid-19 prevention, while protecting the environment, Youth Union of Thu Dau Mot City held an event to exchange garbage for face masks. 

Accordingly, this exchange was carried out on 26 March, on occasion of the 89 anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. On the first day, 600 face masks were exchanged. This was expected to increase in the later exchanges.  

The event location was at Youth club-house on Pham Thi Tan Street, Quarter 3, Phu Loi Ward, Thu Dau Mot City. Collected waste included plastic, metal, nylon... Face masks exchanged were made of good fabric and reusable. Users of this page are re-used many times after cleaning

All expenses to carry out this program was contributed by Youth Union officials and former civil servants of the ward.
