Thu Dau Mot University opens 2018-2019 new academic year

Thu Dau Mot University, on September 17, held a ceremony to open the 2018-2019 new academic year, in attendance of Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Van Loc, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Public Relations.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, the school has a total of nearly 4,000 fresh students in 30 training programs. The school will continue basically and comprehensively improving its teaching ways at the labor market’s demand and fourth industrial revolution; focus on all-round research subjects relating to the southeastern region; strengthen cooperation with foreign universities, aiming to meet the development requirements of the province and labor market…

On this occasion, the school honored students who won national-level Olympic prizes in terms of physics and mathematics in 2018 and outstanding fresh students while offering a gift to the new professor Nguyen Thi Hai, a lecturer of the school’s Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.
