Thuan An City focuses on Covid-19 prevention

Thuan An City Medical Center held a meeting to review the first 6 months' works. During the past 6 months, Thuan An City Medical Center received 152,615 visits of patients coming for medical examination and treatment, reaching over 25%, of which the total number of inpatient treatment was 7,368, reaching over 24%; the total number of outpatient treatment was 8,785 visits, reaching nearly 24%. In addition, the city Medical Center effectively performed the disease prevention, especially for Covid-19 and other diseases. Up to this point, Thuan An City has not recorded any cases of Covid-19 infection.

At present, Thuan An health authority is actively monitoring and encouraging cases coming from epidemic provinces, such as Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, etc. to make medical declarations, conducts epidemiological investigations, quarantine.
