Thuan An’s Labor Union attaches special importance to propaganda among workers

Thuan An city is home to 3 industrial parks, 3 industrial compounds with 325,000 workers. The city’s Labor Union now controls over 511 trade union locals with 65,616 trade unionists. Of these, 426 are from the non-state economic sector with 61,336 trade unionists and the remainder from State agencies, communes, wards and schools.

Over the past five years, the city’s Labor Union coordinated with relevant units to carry out nearly 1,500 shows on law dissemination with more than 15,000 participants and more than 80,000 propaganda leaflets delivered.

The city’s Labor Union also effectively carried out a project on building up crucial forces in non-State enterprises, thereby setting up 12 volunteer workers ’squads in 10 enterprises with 139 members…
