Thuan An town Medical Center to inaugurate artificial kidney unit

On July 17, Thuan An town Medical Center organized the inauguration of artificial kidney unit and put it into service for patients.

Artificial Kidney Unit under Thuan An town Medical Center had total investment cost of about 10 billion VND funded by State budget, and owns 10 sickbeds, 10 dialysis machines, and a filtering system, all dialysis machines are from Germany.

The introduction of artificial kidney unit into operation not only contributes to reducing the overloading situation but also helps patients in the area to save costs, not have to go far to carry out dialysis; At the same time, medical staff has more conditions to improve professional skills. Besides, artificial kidney unit will strengthen prestige of Thuan An town Medical Center, make patients more confident and choose the center for medical examination and treatment.
