The 2019 Horasis Asia Meeting is scheduled to take place in 3 days, from 24 to 26 November in Binh Duong New City. The event has plenary meetings, updated sessions, and thematic dialogue sessions. There will be about 400 international delegates from 60 countries, and many domestic participants at this event. To successfully organize 2019 Horasis Asia Meeting, all preparation works are promptly carried out by all levels, sectors and units in the province.

The 2019 Horasis Asia Meeting is a continuation of 2018Horasis Asia Meeting’s success, but there will be many new things. This year's event is hosted by Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, Horasis Community, Becamex IDC, and VSIP are the organizers, including 4 plenary meetings, nearly 40 dialogue sessions, and many other meetings.

The 2019 Horasis Asia Content subcommittee assigned works to its members as participating departments, branches and units. According to agreement between Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Office of Provincial People's Committee, Becamex IDC, Smart City Office, and VSIP Joint Venture Company, personnel were divided into groups including: The Horasis connection group is to perform the task of contacting and working with Horasis organization to agree on organizational issues. This board has all the details about Horasis contents; giving assistance in contacting and information exchange with Horasis organization, collaborating with other groups of the Organizing Committee; updating the Organizing Committee and other groups o; assigning tasks, monitoring, urging, and reporting works of groups to the Organizing Committee; assigning personnel to be directly in charge of the content of each plenary session and thematic dialogue session.

The group of speeches, hosts, scripts performs the task of preparing scripts, detailed programs (1 for the opening session and 2 for dinner parties), tasks related to the hosts. Content subcommittee also planned and made a list of personnel for document interpreting, translation, and content examination. This group’s members carry out the main task of translation, including selecting cabin translators and assigning translation tasks at sessions; preparing and checking the content of documents such as brochure, documents; collaborating with events companies and Horasis to design, supervise printing of brochures, documents, yearbooks, websites. This group is also responsible for checking documents related to the program, ensuring there are no translation errors; translating necessary documents (English - Vietnamese, Vietnamese - English); checking content of backdrop, banners, standees...; monitoring and urging other related units to ensure that documents are printed on time, in the right quantities and with the correct content...

To perform well collaborative works

According to the assignment, the Content subcommittee in collaboration with Becamex IDC and Horasis Secretariat completed the meeting content as well as prepared speeches. Content subcommittee, Logistical subcommittee, and Reception subcommittee contacted Tan Son Nhat airport security to receive the delegates attentively.

To ensure safety, order and security of Horasis Asia 2019, Security and Order subcommittee - Provincial Police said that the subcommittee planned for implementation and collaboration with relevant units to strengthen security and order control, ensure absolute safety for this event. Meanwhile, according to representatives of Department of Foreign Affairs, invitations were sent to delegates of the Government, ministries, and guests.

At the October regular meeting of Provincial People's Committee, Lê Phú Hòa, Director of Department of Foreign Affairs, said that follow the Chairman's direction on this event organization, the subcommittees were promptly performs tasks. The preparation has many advantages due to previous experience in organization of Horasis Asia 2018.

Dr. Nguyễn Việt Long, Director of Binh Duong Smart City Office, Deputy General Director of Becamex IDC, said 2019 Asia Horasis is an event within the series of smart city events of Binh Duong Province 2019 with many big programs and seminars at the same time. In addition to Horasis Asia 2019, the series of events also includes the Horasis Night which will takes place in the evening of 23 Nov with the theme "Horasis for everyone". This night event includes a cultural art, entertainment program for everyone, to welcome Horasis delegates, and announce some key projects about Binh Duong Smart City.

After Horasis Asia 2019, from 27 to 29, Binh Duong will host the International Science Conference on Asian Urban Development of the Asian Urban Research Association with the participation of 200 scientists all around the world. During this time, there will be a series of inauguration events, groundbreaking events, programs on innovation, entrepreneurship, education and training, scientific research, and trade services development in Binh Duong, support the people... turning towards smart city.

Thus, Horasis Asia 2019 will be a key event in the series of many major provincial events related to smart city. This year, the organization will apply new and modern digital technologies to increase management effectiveness. The province also quickly assigned an Organizing Committee to set up the scale and overall plan with the joint efforts of many units, from the government, businesses, institutes, and many other organizations.

Regarding the program content, compared to Horasis Asia 2018, this year meeting focuses more on global urgent issues, such as smart city development, digitalization, artificial intelligence, sharing economy, and global trade in the new era, and the impacts of breakthroughs and changes on the economy and society, activities of businesses and organizations in the world and Asia, including Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular. This year's event will have more influential speakers, guests all over the world...
